Over the centuries, members of the Great Council have made many insightful connections between events that were not just happening at the same time around the world, but also across centuries.
Hindsight is not an idle term, when you can better understand past events with the benefit of Experiences yet to come, or currently unfolding. For example, we are already able to report the design weaknesses of the HS2 railway project in Britain in 2038, even before construction had been started in 2020; and the changes in technology that made Smart Motorways obsolete in 2026 (quite apart from being deadly dangerous) before they had even been fully rolled out.
People and nations are most vividly re-moulded by events they have actually lived through, rather than learning about them without being directly involved.
We hope this website helps reveal the drift of unconscious assumptions, challenges conventional thinking, and stimulates better courses of action.
